It seems something about the number 7 is coming up quite alot as I read the Bible. So I thought I'd just record down all the examples of numbers of some significance being specifically seven when it could have bee any other number. Maybe a connection will show along the way.
7 days of the week. - Gen 2:1
Cain avenged 7 times - Gen 4:15
Lamech avenged 77 times - Gen 4:24
Lamech (Noah's father) lived 777 years - Gen 5:31
7 clean animals & birds taken into the ark - Gen 7:2-3
7 days till God sends the flood - Gen 7:4
